Xerox Board of Directors Appoints Steven Bandrowczak CEO

Xerox Holdings Corp. has announced its board of directors has appointed Steven Bandrowczak as CEO.

Bandrowczak joined Xerox in 2018 as the company's president and COO, and has served as interim CEO since the passing of John Visentin in June 2022. As president and COO, he was responsible for developing and executing a global operations strategy for Xerox's software and innovation businesses, as well as the company's business support functions, including business strategy, product and service delivery, customer billing and information technology. Bandrowczak was also president of Xerox Holdings Corp. and served as CareAR's chairman.

"Steve has a proven track record of delivering results by leveraging digital platforms to drive market share and increase profitability," said James Nelson, chairman, Xerox Board of Directors. "He also has continually stepped up when Xerox needed him most and demonstrated his ability to lead with passion and empathy. The board has full confidence that Steve is the right leader to move Xerox forward."

"I am humbled by the board's decision to appoint me as chief executive officer," Bandrowczak said. "I see great potential for our company and I'm honored to work alongside all of my Xerox colleagues as we build momentum toward the future."

Bandrowczak joined Xerox in 2018 from Alight Solutions, where he was the COO and CIO, responsible for the company's global supply chain, shared services, product development, transformation office, accounts payable, IT strategy and operations, enterprise risk management and real estate.

Prior to his experience at Alight Solutions, Bandrowczak was the president of telecommunication media and technology at Sutherland Global Services. He previously served as the senior vice president for global business services at Hewlett-Packard, where he transformed its 16,000-employee shared service organization into a highly efficient operation with a focus on automation, business intelligence and labor optimization. In addition, Bandrowczak led the business process outsourcing (BPO) practice in the enterprise services group.

During his career, Bandrowczak has held senior leadership positions for various multibillion-dollar global companies, including Avaya, Nortel, Lenovo, DHL and Avnet.

In other news, Xerox has been named a Leader in Quocirca's 2022 Managed Print Services (MPS) Market Landscape Report. This report recognized the top managed print services vendors who functioned as key partners and aided businesses in the shift to hybrid work.

"Our goal is to deliver better business outcomes for our customers, while securing and optimizing their print infrastructures," said Tracey Koziol, senior vice president of global offerings, Xerox. "Through Xerox's MPS cloud, analytics, security and digital workflow capabilities, we enable our customers to increase productivity and efficiency even when collaborating in a distributed work environment."

Xerox is lauded for its versatility as an MPS partner for both the modern workplace and the home office, a key asset for companies and workers managing a hybrid work environment. Furthermore, the company is recognized by Quocirca as one of the most established MPS vendors in the market, with the broadest capabilities across the cloud, digital workflow, security and analytics.

Quocirca noted, "Xerox has long been on the path to enable agile, digital services for enterprise and SMB clients beyond traditional print management capabilities. Its cloud-first development path strategy allowed it to pivot very quickly to support homeworkers early in the pandemic. It further expanded its offer in 2020 to supply device, print, security, and productivity services and solutions for an enhanced definition of workplace that includes home offices, on-campus offices, coffee shops, libraries and anywhere in between."

The company's dedication to integrated security solutions received additional praise from Quocirca. According to the report, "Xerox's comprehensive security approach prevents intrusions to safeguard access to data, detects any unauthorized and harmful changes to devices and protects data and documents. Its ConnectKey ecosystem features a comprehensive set of advanced security features in partnership with McAfee and Cisco. Secure device and document management solutions monitor devices, usage, and content for compliance with policies, regulatory requirements and data privacy acts."
