Stramaglio Consulting (SC) has announced a strategic alliance with the TWAIN Working Group (TWG) to advance Workplace Asset Lifecycle Management (WALM), a platform for unified management of connected workplace assets throughout their operational life cycles.

The alliance combines SC's business-development network with TWG's interoperability expertise to create a scalable framework through which imaging equipment, robotics, sensors, facility technologies and other connected devices can exchange operational data and support coordinated service workflows.

The strategic alliance will focus on five primary areas:

1. Leading the development and industry adoption of the WALM platform.
2. Leveraging The Consortium and the Executive Connection Summit (ECS) to build the WALM business ecosystem and recruit technology, service, financing and channel partners.
3. Applying TWG's technical expertise to establish interoperability between WALM and workplace assets.
4. Demonstrating an interoperability-focused WALM proof of concept at TWG's Converge event in November 2026.
5. Showcasing the WALM platform and its collaboration partners at ECS 2027 in March 2027.

WALM is being developed to manage workplace assets across the full life cycle — from planning and deployment through monitoring, maintenance, service optimization and eventual replacement or redeployment. Its interoperability framework will normalize multivendor data to support predictive maintenance, automated workflows, coordinated service and outcome-based models.

SC will lead business and partnership development through The Consortium and ECS, while TWG will contribute expertise in interoperability, connectivity, data capture and integration architecture to connect diverse workplace assets to WALM.

The first milestone will be a WALM proof of concept at TWG's Converge event in November 2026, demonstrating how data from different workplace assets can be integrated into a common WALM environment.

At ECS 2027 in March 2027, the alliance will showcase the broader WALM platform and partner ecosystem, bringing together connected assets, integration technologies, service organizations and prospective commercial partners.
