Sharp's Moonsun Park Honored With 2026 Executive Excellence Award
Sharp Electronics Corp. USA has announced that Moonsun Park, chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance, will receive a 2026 Executive Excellence Award from NJBIZ.
The NJBIZ Executive Excellence Awards recognize New Jersey's most accomplished senior business leaders for their remarkable leadership, integrity, values and vision, as well as their lasting commitment to company performance and community service.
"The NJBIZ Executive Excellence Awards are our way of shining a spotlight on the executives who truly go above and beyond," said AnnMarie Karczmit, associate publisher and general manager, NJBIZ.
During her nearly 29-year tenure with Sharp thus far, Park has built a distinguished career, advancing through various leadership roles to CFO. In her current position, she oversees all finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, procurement and reporting. She also serves as a key executive voice in shaping Sharp's long-term vision and guiding complex business decisions.
Park's leadership has strengthened Sharp's financial foundation while helping position the company for sustained growth. Her guidance was especially impactful during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she helped lead the organization through a period of uncertainty while maintaining financial stability and supporting strategic investments. Park has also led efforts to modernize financial operations, improving efficiency, transparency and decision-making across the company. In addition, Park is recognized for her commitment to mentoring employees, fostering collaboration and supporting an inclusive workplace culture at Sharp.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Park's commitment to service extends to the New Jersey community. Park has volunteered with organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the Center for Food Action, Bergen Volunteer Center and Table to Table.
Previous honors given to Park include NJBIZ's Best 50 Women in Business and Leader in Finance awards.
"Moonsun's strategic leadership, integrity and commitment to both Sharp and the community make this recognition especially well deserved," said Jeff Ashida, chairman, president and CEO, Sharp Electronics Corp. in the U.S. "We are extremely grateful for all she has done for our company and beyond."
Park will be recognized at the NJBIZ 2026 Executive Excellence Awards on Oct. 13, 2026, in New Jersey.
