Sharp Electronics Recognized as a 2026 Best Place to Work for Women
Sharp Electronics Corp. has been recognized as one of Best Companies Group's 2026 Best Places to Work for Women. The recognition honors organizations that foster exceptional workplace environments where women can prosper and reflects Sharp's commitment to building an inclusive, supportive culture.
Best Places to Work for Women is a survey-based competition that recognizes the top companies for women in the workforce across the United States. Eligible companies launched a survey process with Best Companies Group in the last year. Survey data was analyzed and compared across all participants, focusing on the experiences of women within each company's workforce. Winners were selected based on this comparative analysis. The awards are held in partnership with BridgeTower Media.
"At Sharp, we know a strong workplace culture is rooted in how people feel when they come to work each day. We are honored to be awarded for our inclusive environment," says Jeff Ashida, chairman, president and CEO, Sharp Electronics Corp. in the U.S. "This meaningful recognition from Best Companies Group is a true reflection of the experiences of our employees throughout the U.S., and we are proud to be building an environment where women feel valued and empowered to grow both personally and professionally."
Sharp was recognized in the Enterprise category, which includes organizations with more than 999 employees. Sharp's employee-focused culture is built on flexibility, well-being, professional development and community engagement. Through comprehensive benefits, hybrid work opportunities, ongoing learning and career development programs, employee resource groups and volunteer initiatives, Sharp strives to create an environment where employees feel connected, supported and empowered to succeed.
The Best Places to Work for Women winners were announced at a virtual celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The event ranked all winning organizations in each size category and honored them for exceptional employee experiences and dedication to creating outstanding cultures.
