NetSuite Advances Vision for an Autonomous Suite
NetSuite Advances Vision for an Autonomous Suite
Oracle NetSuite has announced new AI capabilities that help organizations apply business expertise, automate more work and improve business performance. The innovations span new NetSuite Next capabilities including AI Workspaces, AI portlets, SuiteSkills, industry-specific agents and SuiteAgent Studio, as well as updates to Ask Oracle that expand data sources and business context. Together, these capabilities advance NetSuite's vision for an autonomous suite that can coordinate and execute work across business processes to help organizations put business expertise into action, improve operational efficiency and accelerate growth.
"Businesses want AI that understands how they operate and helps them get things done," said Evan Goldberg, founder and executive vice president, Oracle NetSuite. "Our vision is for a suite that understands business goals, anticipates what needs attention and takes action to achieve results. It will coordinate work across people and agents, learn from outcomes and continuously improve performance. With our latest AI capabilities, customers can automate more work, resolve issues faster and stay in control of how AI operates. They can choose NetSuite's embedded AI or their preferred AI service."
The new NetSuite Next innovations that help organizations complete more work with existing resources, automate recurring processes with skills and agents, and advance NetSuite's autonomous suite vision include:
- SuiteSkills: Help organizations apply NetSuite business expertise, investigate problems and take action faster. Available as part of Ask Oracle and through supported large language models (LLMs) via the NetSuite AI Connector Service, the 45-plus new SuiteSkills combine connected financial and operational information, process knowledge and industry expertise with AI reasoning. For example, teams can resolve issues delaying the financial close, uncover potential revenue leakage and address inventory and fulfillment exceptions, with access and actions governed by NetSuite's established roles and permissions.
- AI Portlets: Help organizations accelerate analysis, improve visibility and make more informed decisions by generating dashboard analysis, charts and available actions from natural language requests. For example, a finance leader can quickly create a portlet that compares actual sales with a marketing proposal's projections.
- AI Workspaces: Help teams complete complex business processes faster by coordinating people, AI agents, information and approvals in one place. For example, the Autonomous Close workspace will help businesses move toward a zero-day close by enabling people and agents to identify and resolve accounting issues continuously instead of waiting until the end of the accounting period.
- Industry-specific SuiteAgents: Help organizations address industry-specific challenges, reduce financial risk and improve operational performance using AI agents designed for their industry. Supporting software, product, health care, construction and nonprofit organizations, the new SuiteAgents help teams strengthen revenue and grant compliance, improve inventory efficiency, manage supply risks and protect job profitability.
- SuiteFlow Agent: Helps administrators and power users simplify workflow creation and reduce manual configuration through natural-language requests in Ask Oracle. Users can create workflows that require purchase order numbers, make fields read-only or display messages based on business conditions, while reviewing and confirming proposed configurations before creation.
- SuiteAgent Studio: Helps users easily create agents and refine their instructions, tools, triggers and execution roles before activation. The user-created agents help organizations accelerate recurring work and increase team capacity and run on schedules or in response to business events within configured permissions and approval requirements.
- SuiteAgent Management Workspace: Helps organizations maintain control over delegated work and strengthen accountability by centrally managing agent access and execution permissions, monitoring activity, and activating or deactivating agents. Alerts in the workspace surface execution issues, while System Notes support traceability of record changes.
New Ask Oracle capabilities that expand business context and data sources include:
- Ask Oracle Connectors: Help organizations resolve business issues faster by connecting information and actions across NetSuite and other business applications and the internet. With new Model Context Protocol (MCP) client capabilities for Ask Oracle, users will be able to search the internet and compare information across supported business systems, review supporting records and documents, and direct permitted follow-up actions in connected applications, such as routing an approval, updating an order or holding a payment.
- NetSuite Data Intelligence: Helps organizations identify opportunities, understand business performance and make better decisions using their financial and operational data. Formerly known NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, NetSuite Data Intelligence expands conversational analysis through the NetSuite Data Intelligence Agent in Ask Oracle and delivers business-specific insights and recommendations through the Deep Insights Agent.
NetSuite's open platform gives customers the flexibility to adopt AI on their terms. Customers can use embedded AI, including Ask Oracle and SuiteAgents, or bring their preferred AI models through the NetSuite AI Connector Service, with access and permitted actions governed by NetSuite's roles and permissions. Backed by Oracle Autonomous AI Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle AI services, NetSuite provides the technology, security and scalability businesses need to adopt AI across their operations.

SuiteSkills, AI Portlets, AI Workspaces and select industry-specific SuiteAgents are now available in all markets where NetSuite Next is available. Other Autonomous Suite capabilities are planned for a future NetSuite release in all markets where NetSuite Next, Ask Oracle, and NetSuite Data Intelligence are available.
In other news, Oracle NetSuite has announced SuiteSkills, prebuilt business skills that enable organizations to apply NetSuite's business expertise through their preferred AI services. By combining NetSuite's connected financial and operational information, process knowledge and industry expertise with AI reasoning, SuiteSkills help teams investigate issues, understand their implications across the business and take supported action within NetSuite's established roles and permissions.
"Organizations want to put AI to work in ways that fit their business and unique processes," Goldberg said. "SuiteSkills give our customers more ways to apply NetSuite's business expertise through the AI service of their choice. Because NetSuite connects financial and operational processes across the entire business, SuiteSkills can put that expertise to work for employees wherever they sit in the organization. NetSuite remains the core system that connects and secures business information, processes and actions, while SuiteSkills help customers get more value from AI without compromising control over what people can access and do."
More than 13,000 customers have already adopted the NetSuite AI Connector Service, which enables them to connect their preferred AI models to NetSuite data and tools with access and actions governed by NetSuite's roles and permissions. SuiteSkills can be used with connected AI models, and are also available in Ask Oracle within NetSuite Next, to enable AI to complete tasks in NetSuite without having to learn how each process works.
NetSuite is introducing more than 45 SuiteSkills across key business functions, including:
- Financial analysis and close: Helps finance teams accelerate financial review and close by explaining material variances, identifying close blockers and reviewing reconciliation differences. For example, the Variance and Flux Analysis skill distinguishes recurring changes from timing effects and one-time items, helping teams prepare management commentary and focus on issues that need attention.
- Billing and cash flow: Helps teams protect revenue and improve cash flow by identifying potential billing gaps, prioritizing overdue invoices and assessing liquidity. For example, the Revenue Leakage skill distinguishes potential underbilling and unbilled delivery from accounting exceptions, helping billing and finance teams direct follow up to the right issues.
- Inventory and fulfillment: Helps operations teams improve inventory efficiency and meet customer commitments by investigating inventory imbalances, fulfillment delays and work-order cost differences. For example, the Inventory Movement Insights and Fulfillment Performance Insights skills help teams understand the causes of exceptions and determine appropriate next steps.
- Projects and service delivery: Helps project managers reduce planning effort and address delivery risks by turning statements of work into editable plans and assessing staffing capacity. For example, the Project Operations Assistant skill recommends role-matched personnel and supports the creation of projects and tasks from a reviewed and approved plan.
- Sales and customer service: Helps teams prepare for customer conversations and respond to inquiries with less manual information gathering. For example, the Sales Assistant and Customer Support Assistant skills draw on relevant account and case information to prepare insights, responses, and proposed next steps for employees to review.
- Workforce management: Helps finance and workforce teams manage labor costs and improve payroll readiness by identifying spending patterns and discrepancies between time and pay. For example, the Labor Cost Advisor and Time-to-Pay Reconciliation Auditor skills help teams focus investigations and prepare follow-up, with access to employee information governed by NetSuite permissions.
NetSuite's open platform gives customers the flexibility to adopt AI in ways that make sense for their business. Customers can use embedded AI, including Ask Oracle and SuiteAgents, or bring their preferred AI models through the NetSuite AI Connector Service, with access and permitted actions governed by NetSuite's roles and permissions. Backed by Oracle's autonomous AI database, cloud infrastructure and AI services, NetSuite brings a powerful AI foundation and enterprise-grade capabilities to businesses of all sizes.
SuiteSkills are available to all NetSuite customers for download from GitHub (opens in new tab) and popular AI service marketplaces.
In other news, Oracle NetSuite has announced NetSuite SuiteExpress, a new agentic implementation toolset and methodology designed to transform how customers deploy, adopt and expand their use of NetSuite. SuiteExpress combines knowledge of each customer's business with NetSuite's 28 years of product and industry expertise and puts AI to work across the customer journey to align the suite's capabilities with customer needs. This helps organizations implement more of what they need upfront and realize greater value from day one. By reducing implementation time to weeks or even days, SuiteExpress enables customers to spend less time managing their systems and more time driving business results.
"Long ERP implementations ask too much of customers before they can start realizing value," Goldberg said. "We're changing that with SuiteExpress. We're putting decades of NetSuite expertise to work through AI to take on more of the work, helping customers accelerate implementation and optimize their use of NetSuite as their businesses grow. This combination of deep product expertise and AI-driven implementation capabilities sets SuiteExpress apart in the market, helping customers get up and running faster and stay focused on growing their businesses."
SuiteExpress is powered by two connected knowledge bases that combine customer-specific context with NetSuite's proprietary expertise. The Customer Knowledge Base ingests meeting notes, documents, spreadsheets, recordings and data from other systems to capture requirements, business processes, configuration decisions and validation history, giving customers and implementation consultants a shared understanding of how the business works. The NetSuite Knowledge Base applies proprietary product, implementation and industry expertise developed through NetSuite's experience serving more than 44,000 customers. Together, these knowledge bases give AI the context and expertise to recommend next steps and carry out implementation work with oversight from consultants, while helping customers continuously improve how they use NetSuite after go-live.
SuiteExpress will help customers and partners:
- Accelerate deployment and time to value: Helps organizations implement NetSuite faster and get more value from the start by using AI to capture and organize requirements, identify gaps and align NetSuite capabilities with their business needs.
- Simplify data migration: Helps organizations streamline their transition to NetSuite by using AI to prepare and validate data from existing systems.
- Map solutions to business needs: Helps organizations tailor NetSuite to their operations by connecting requirements to relevant NetSuite capabilities, industry practices and proven configuration patterns, with consultants guiding key decisions and handling exceptions.
- Validate workflows: Helps organizations identify potential issues before deployment by using AI to create and run tests against their unique requirements.
- Create Guided Learning: Enables organizations to accelerate adoption and provide contextual help based on their unique configuration.
- Drive continuous business improvement: Helps organizations expand use of NetSuite after go-live and discover relevant capabilities and processes as their needs change, using the context gathered during implementation to identify ways to make NetSuite work better for their businesses.
- Support business expansion: Helps existing customers add a subsidiary, enter a new market or adopt a new capability by building on existing business context without repeating discovery from scratch.
"I knew NetSuite would be a great fit for our business, but I didn't expect us to get there so quickly," said Steve Hehl, COO, Worksmith. "With SuiteExpress, everything just moved. AI helped connect our systems in a way that was specific to how we operate, and the entire process required far less of our team's time than I expected."
"We've never experienced an implementation process like this," said Jake Leigh, financial controller, Amba Health. "SuiteExpress brings together what makes our business unique with NetSuite's expertise to help us get up and running faster. And that knowledge stays with us, so every next step builds on the last as we grow."
Availability
SuiteExpress is available now to customers in the software industry in the United States and Canada.

"Our new SuiteAgents put the industry expertise that NetSuite has developed over almost (opens in new tab) three decades to work. By bringing together industry knowledge, business context and the right next steps, they will help finance and operations teams respond faster while retaining oversight, judgment and accountability."
