Kyocera's Annual Service Award to Crown Top Dealer Technician

Kyocera's Annual Service Award to Crown Top Dealer Technician

Kyocera Document Solutions America Inc. has revealed details of its 12th annual Kyocera Service Award competition.

After an extremely hard-fought 2022 tournament, Kyocera once again expects the level of competition this year to be at an all-time high given the rich legacy of this three-round tournament and its significant prizes.

"Our technicians are a fundamental part of the Kyocera family," said Frank Zupa, vice president of customer operations, Kyocera Document Solutions America Inc. "In reality, they are the face of Kyocera to so many end users every day. The Kyocera Service Award is our way of celebrating these men and women for their expertise, knowledge and passion for Kyocera's products and solutions. Every year, there is nothing my team and I enjoy more than watching this community of experts compete to see who is truly the 'best of the best' and rewarding them for perfecting their craft."

The technician who finishes in the top spot of the competition will take home several exciting prizes, including a travel voucher good for an all-expenses-paid trip for two. However, each of the other semifinalists will go home with great prizes, too.

To be part of this great annual event, Kyocera technicians can start by taking a preliminary online test before the application window closes on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023.

Semifinals will be held at each Kyocera regional office on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023. The top technician from each region will advance to the Kyocera Service Award Final, which will be held at the Kyocera Dallas Training Center on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023.

Kyocera covers all travel and accommodation costs for finalists that come to our National Training Center in Dallas, Texas.

Regional prizes for the semi-final competition are gift cards that range from $100 to $500.

Each National Finalist will receive gift cards ranging in value from $500 to $2,000.

The Top Finalist will win a $2,500 gift card, recognition plaque and travel voucher for two (valid for two years), that can be used for an all-expenses-paid trip at an eligible destination (valued at $4,500).

Kyocera founder Dr. Kazuo Inamori once said that "successful people achieve extraordinary feats by holding on to their convictions and ideals. They use them to break down every wall that stands in their way." Kyocera dealers are renowned for their fighting spirit, and the annual Service Award competition will ensure that those who aim highest will reap the rewards.

"I am certain that the 2023 tournament will be a wonderful showcase of the amazing talent of our community of technicians," Zupa said. "May the best person win!"
