Kyocera Achieves Platinum Certification for Responsible Business Alliance Audit at Vietnam Plant

Kyocera Document Solutions America Inc. has announced another recognition of the company’s commitment to safe labor conditions and workers' rights throughout its supply chain.

Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. has announced that Kyocera Document Technology Vietnam ("Vietnam plant") has obtained the Platinum Certification under the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Validated Assessment Program (VAP) audit. This marks the second facility within the Company to receive Platinum Certification, following the KYOCERA Document Technology (Dongguan) China plant.

The RBA is a coalition of companies aimed at supporting safe labor conditions and workers' rights within the supply chains of the electrical and electronics industry. The RBA conducts the VAP audit program, which assesses member companies' compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, ensuring high standards in labor practices, ethics, environment, health and safety, and management systems. Kyocera's Vietnam plant achieved the Platinum Certification by attaining a perfect score of 200 points in the VAP audit program.
