Konica Minolta Wins Four Pick Awards & 2025 A3 Line of the Year Award From Keypoint Intelligence

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. has announced it has received five Buyers Lab (BLI) Awards from Keypoint Intelligence. The awards acknowledge the capabilities of Konica Minolta's multifunctional print devices (MFP), with four individual devices named winners of Pick Awards. Konica Minolta was also named the winner of the 2025 A3 Line of the Year Award. Awards from Keypoint Intelligence give companies special recognition for their print and smart workplace technology and services, based on results from lab testing or market research.

Keypoint Intelligence was impressed by Konica Minolta's broader A3 range, awarding it the 2025 A3 Line of the Year Award. The judges acknowledged "superior performance during Keypoint Intelligence's testing across the entire A3 line," and praised Konica Minolta for its "fresh, broad portfolio with a strong feature set that can meet and exceed the needs of hybrid working environments." Konica Minolta's MFPs are also cloud-enabled, allowing businesses to not only print and scan, but securely store and access documents in the cloud, providing employees with the flexibility to work from anywhere at any time.

"Our testing of Konica Minolta's latest A3 MFPs revealed exceptional and consistent performance across the lineup, whether it was the 30 ppm, 45 ppm or 75 ppm, mono or color models," said Pete Emory, director of research & lab services NA/APAC, Keypoint Intelligence. "From the outset, these copier-based devices impressed us with their simplified setup process and robust administrative capabilities, making fleet setup and management seamless. Once operational, the devices demonstrated outstanding efficiency, professional-looking print quality and excellent usability. Walk-up experience is intuitive and consistent across the range — whether using the bizhub C301i or the C751i, Konica Minolta's design, performance and user experience were indistinguishable." Security was also a key strength for Konica Minolta's range, with the awards highlighting its "robust security offering to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate risk of unauthorized access to the device and network."

Based on long-term comprehensive testing, four of Konica Minolta's MFPs have also been named in the Pick Awards 2025 — the Konica Minolta bizhub C451i, bizhub C551i, bizhub C651i and bizhub C751i. Keypoint Intelligence highlights the biggest contributing factors to these accolades, which include impressive productivity, "faster-than-average job streams and first-print-out times make for highly productive devices in multiuser environments." The awards from Keypoint Intelligence also recognize the suitability of Konica Minolta's devices for modern working, noting their "above average scan speeds are a big plus for the digitization needs of today's hybrid workers."

"Our bizhub One i-Series multifunction printers continue to evolve in anticipation of changing workstyles, and we pride ourselves on our sophisticated features and services, tailored to meet the needs of customers across various industries, sizes and business requirements," said Jason Dizzine, vice president of portfolio management and planning, Konica Minolta. "To have our efforts recognized by Keypoint Intelligence in this way — particularly as the winner of A3 Line of the Year — is a true honor that we do not take lightly, and we thank everyone involved at Keypoint Intelligence for their efforts to evaluate our products."

The award-winning products are part of Konica Minolta's next generation of bizhub One i-Series MFPs. The extensive new range of 21 devices (seven color A3, five color A4, six black-and-white A3 and three black-and-white A4), includes features and functionality that places the increased need for security and ease of use in the modern workplace at the forefront.

In other news, Konica Minolta has announced the availability of KPAX to its dealer network through its partnership with Access Control Devices Inc. (ACDI). KPAX offers a centralized fleet-management solution for multibrand office printing and copying hardware, required for any managed print services program offering. Konica Minolta already offers several products from ACDI's portfolio, including Papercut software, Intuitive, Elatec and RF Ideas.

Through a unique interface, KPAX allows access to information from all major modern printing devices to enable the implementation of managed print services (MPS), no matter the number of sites, customers or machines. KPAX also offers the Liberty Box appliance, which revolutionizes data management by simplifying the implementation and daily operation of data collection agents, even in the most challenging client environments.

Future business decisions hinge on data accuracy and independence. As technology and AI revolutionize critical decision-making, dealers must embrace flexibility to adapt to rapid operational growth. KPAX empowers dealers to stay ahead, ensuring seamless data management and reducing each end user's financial costs and ecological impacts related to print.

Bringing New Benefits to Dealer Partners

Konica Minolta is offering KPAX to its dealer network for their back-office use to improve service quality, reduce fleet operating costs and develop new revenue opportunities for their end-user customers. Integrating KPAX will also allow dealers to streamline and automate their customer invoicing while it centralizes and simplifies a dealership's entire managed print program.

"As we continue to see challenges around digital transformation in the overall market — many of which our dealers are experiencing — we look for new tools, partners and applications to help them persevere and expand profitability and sales, service and operations," said Laura Blackmer, president of dealer sales, Konica Minolta. "This is a unique offering because it's not one that dealers resell — they implement KPAX in their own organization to help streamline business processes, tackle challenges and create more profit through optimized operations."

"We are thrilled to announce the KPAX offering to our dealers through our ACDI relationship," said Sam Errigo, president and CEO, Konica Minolta. "We recognize that dealers have many factors to consider when partnering with an OEM; it's a decision that has major impacts on their operations and profitability. Being able to offer a solution with such significant benefits to each dealer end user — especially during these times of hybrid work — will strengthen our partnerships with our dealers and ACDI, especially as we continue to build KPAX integrations into more Konica Minolta products."

The KPAX managed print services solution is quick to set up and simple to use, suitable for users at any level of technical expertise. It offers a centralized view of a dealer's entire print fleet within a managed print services program for improved visibility, cost control, efficiency and proactive maintenance, along with enhanced security, compliance and access control to protect sensitive information. Coupled with ACDI's extensive service and support, KPAX delivers the right services to the correct user at the right time within the dealership.

"Konica Minolta has been a valued partner since 2015, and we are extremely pleased to expand our alliance by bringing KPAX fleet management software to their dealer network," said Josh Lane, president and CEO, ACDI. "We are grateful for the opportunity to continue connecting our partners with products, services and support to help dealers and the imaging channel streamline operations and better manage their businesses."
