HP Unveils New Offerings & Partner Program Enhancements at Amplify

HP Inc. hosted its Amplify Partner Conference on March 29, the company's first in-person global partner event in three years. During this fully carbon-neutral event, the company unveiled a range of bold new offerings aimed at driving long-term partner growth and lifetime customer value. The event theme — Future Ready, Together We Win — invites partners to join HP to take advantage of opportunities across high-growth segments including gaming, hybrid work, workforce services, security and sustainability.

At the event, the 2,000 participants from around the world heard from myriad speakers including Enrique Lores, president and CEO; Marie Myers, CFO; Tuan Tran, president of printing, imaging & solutions; Alex Cho, president of personal systems; Dave Shull, president of workforce services & solutions; David McQuarrie, chief commercial officer; Ernest Nicolas, chief supply chain officer; Stella Low, chief corporate affairs and communications officer; Joanna Burkey, chief information security officer; James McCall, chief sustainability officer; Kobi Elbaz, general manager of global channel; and Helena Herrero, managing director for southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.

At the event, the company unveiled a range of innovative new offerings designed to supercharge partner growth.

HP announced several new partner benefits and program enhancements aimed at driving greater agility, simplification, growth and collaboration. As of Nov. 1, 2023 (fiscal 2024), all HP products, solutions and distribution across its portfolio will be integrated into the HP Amplify Program, delivering one global platform as the foundation for partner engagement.

HP also announced the new HP Color LaserJet 4200/4300 and the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 and X500/X600 printing solutions for businesses of all sizes. All new HP Color LaserJet series printers are powered by HP's next-generation sustainable toner, which delivers up to 27% reduced energy use and up to 78% less plastic in the packaging. HP's high-performance printing solutions are built to help growing businesses maximize productivity and minimize disruptions for today's hybrid workstyles.

HP also announced new products and solutions to usher in the next era of hybrid work for everyone with the world's most comprehensive set of computing solutions for hybrid flexibility.

With only 22% of workers describing themselves as "thriving" in hybrid work, it is clear companies are still figuring out how to make hybrid work. Of those thrivers, 90% believe that access to the right technology and tools leads to a positive work experience. To accelerate employees' return to work, the right technology is required for optimal work setups, enabling success for companies and their employees.  

HP also announced Wolf Connect, an IT management connectivity solution that provides a highly resilient and secure connection to remote PCs, enabling IT to manage devices even when powered down or offline. Using a cellular-based network, HP Wolf Connect's connectivity helps ensure IT teams can readily manage a dispersed hybrid workforce. It can reduce the time and effort needed to resolve support tickets, secure data from loss or theft to mitigate a potential breach and optimize asset management.

In other news, HP announced the new HP Color LaserJet 4200/4300 and the HP Color LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 and X500/X600 printing solutions for businesses of all sizes. All new HP Color LaserJet series printers are powered by HP's next-generation sustainable toner, which delivers up to 27% reduced energy use and up to 78% less plastic in the packaging. HP's printing solutions are built to help growing businesses maximize productivity and minimize disruptions for today's hybrid workstyles.

As part of its mission to empower customers with a better printing experience, the new HP TerraJet toner technology delivers both the most sustainable and the highest performance office printing HP has ever achieved. TerraJet is an advanced toner technology requiring 27% less energy when printing and up to 78% reduction in plastic, all while delivering sharper detail with up to 20% more printable colors. HP TerraJet cartridges can have a lower carbon footprint than their predecessor products and are included in new printing solutions from small business through large enterprise.

Employees' intent to stay or leave a job is a growing issue for many organizations, which is only expected to increase as the oldest members of Generation Z enter the workforce. To attract and retain top talent, 60% of small businesses have implemented changes including flexible work arrangements. With these hiring trends in mind, an increasing number of small business employees are adopting hybrid workstyles. Yet, half of small businesses struggle to manage technology in a hybrid workplace. And 91% of small businesses still rely on printed documents to run their businesses.

HP also unveiled two new elements in the HP Amplify program, including the More for More benefit and compensation program, and Fast Lane joint demand-generation process. Aimed at driving an increase in sales across the HP portfolio and deliver a more satisfying and complete customer experience, the More for More enhancement will leverage a rate multiplier to boost compensation for qualified partners. The new Fast Lane joint demand generation process simplifies reimbursement of marketing development funds via an automated process for claims and payments, dramatically improving the turnaround time and overall experience for eligible partners. Both the More for More and Fast Lane elements will be deployed in the Amplify partner program in HP's new fiscal year, Nov. 1, 2023.

HP Amplify Impact represents the world's first partner assessment, resource and training program focused solely on sustainable impact. To help spur the company's ambitious goal of enrolling at least 50% of Amplify partners in Amplify Impact by 2025, HP today announced a new way for participating partners to leverage Amplify Impact participation toward eligibility status. Beginning May 2023, qualified partners receiving 3-Star recognition will earn a point towards eligibility for Power and Power Services.

HP also honored winners of its inaugural Amplify Impact Awards at a live ceremony at the Amplify Partner Conference.
