BTA member Function4 has announced it has acquired Texas Document Solutions (TDS), effective May 29, 2026. TDS is an authorized Sharp and Canon dealer operating out of four Texas markets — Waco, College Station, Lufkin and Tyler.

The acquisition adds an experienced service, IT, sales and administrative team to the Function4 organization, and is expected to create growth opportunities in managed print services, production print and IT solutions. The deal also expands the number of Texas counties in which Function4 is authorized to operate.

Function4 leadership welcomed the TDS team in an internal announcement, describing the acquisition as an important step in the company’s long-term growth strategy across Texas.
