Formax has introduced the 2150 Series Production Pressure Sealer, replacing the discontinued 2300 Series.

The 2150 Series is designed to process high-volume jobs up to 27,000 forms per hour, with an unlimited monthly duty cycle. The graphics-based 12-inch color touch screen is mounted on a swivel arm, and provides intuitive control of fold type, form length and operating speed.

Users can program up to 200 custom jobs, and process forms up to 17 inches wide and 26 inches long. Two configurations are available, each with a top-suction pile feeder input: the FD 2150 with two automatic fold plates, and the FD 2156 with six automatic fold plates. Fully automated settings include the feeder, transport deck, fold plate stops, deflectors and fold rollers.

Standard features include heavy-duty fold plates, steel-and-urethane fold rollers, safety interlocks, jam detection and addition/batch counter. Options include the V-Stack36i Vertical Stacker.

In other news, Formax has introduced the Greenwave 432 Cardboard Perforator, upgrading and replacing the Greenwave 430.

Upcycle cardboard, waste less and pack smarter with the new Greenwave 432. Its heavy-duty solid steel perforating blades transform waste cardboard up to 16.9 inches wide into high-quality eco-friendly perforated packing materials. This freestanding unit features heavy-duty casters for easy mobility and a molded plastic waste bin.

Operation is easy: choose the finished size of the packing materials, adjust the cutting guide, press start and insert cardboard. The result is flexible, shock-absorbing netting which is easy to wrap around objects to provide protective cushioning during shipment.

Standard features include all-metal housing, solid steel perforating blades, rugged metal gearing, a bold-print measuring scale and two new features — an emergency stop button and auto-stop guard to prevent jams.
