Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM Series Recognized in CRN's 2023 Tech Innovator Awards

Epson America Inc. has been recognized by CRN. The Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM Series was selected as a finalist for the 2023 CRN Tech Innovator Awards in the "Multifunction Printers" category.

This annual award program showcases innovative vendors in the IT channel across 37 different technology categories, in key areas ranging from cloud to storage to networking to security. To determine the 2023 winners, a panel of CRN editors reviewed hundreds of vendor entries — including solution provider testimonials — using multiple criteria, including key capabilities, uniqueness, technological ingenuity and ability to address customer and partner needs.

The WorkForce Enterprise AM Series, powered by PrecisionCore advanced printing technology, consists of the AM-C6000, AM-C5000 and AM-C4000 A3 line head MFPs that offer powerful business productivity and deliver outstanding quality with low waste. The MFPs competitively offer the lowest power consumption in their classes — up to 65% lower for the AM-C6000, up to 55% lower for the AM-C5000 and up to 45% lower for the AM-C4000 versus color laser printers — to help businesses meet sustainability goals. Convenient for space-constrained environments, they use the least amount of floor space in each of their classes.

"Epson is dedicated to delivering innovative printing technologies to exceed market needs," said Elliot Williams, group product manager of business imaging, Epson America, Inc. "With the WorkForce Enterprise AM Series, Epson addresses the mid-range MFP market and expands into new market segments, opening the door to new revenue opportunities for Epson channel partners."

"The focal point and one of the revenue-producing divisions for Document Solutions Inc. is imaging," said Phil Houser, president and CEO, Document Solutions Inc. "I've been in the industry for 39 years and offering the Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM Series has opened new business opportunities for us. The PrecisionCore Heat-Free technology is a differentiating factor for us to be unique. It allows us to present a different offering to our clients that bring them tangible benefits. We really, really value working with Epson. They're here to help us be successful."

"CRN's annual Tech Innovator Awards acknowledge technology vendors committed to new and updated products that are creating the biggest opportunities for the solution providers and strategic service providers working on the front lines with customers," said Blaine Raddon, CEO, The Channel Company. "Congratulations to each one of this year's CRN Tech Innovator Award winners. We are proud to recognize these best-in-class vendors that are driving transformation and innovation in the IT space."

The Tech Innovator Awards is featured in the August issue of CRN and can be viewed online at crn.com/techinnovators.

In other news, Epson has announced it has been awarded the "Vendor Award of Excellence" from the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA). Offering a broad line of point of sale (POS) receipt printers engineered for reliability and easy integration with solutions to fit retail needs, Epson was the recipient of the Silver award in the Hardware Manufacturer category.

"The Vendor Awards of Excellence are an esteemed distinction given by RSPA, only attained through providing extraordinary products, continuous support and services year-round," said Juan Carlos Castillo, director of commercial sales, Epson America Inc. "With 2023 commemorating the 75th anniversary of RSPA, Epson is honored to once again be recognized alongside our numerous partners and offer our congratulations for their achievements."

The RSPA Vendor Awards of Excellence are the point of sale and retail technology industry's only awards where resellers vote to recognize vendor's excellence in channel service. RSPA conducted an electronic voting process for a four-week period in which all RSPA reseller members were called upon to vote for the channel vendors they deemed "best in service and support" in six categories.

Epson is a certified, longstanding member of the RSPA. The RSPA Certification Program identifies companies in the retail technology industry who provide exceptional levels of competence and performance in a professional manner. RetailNOW is the retail technology industry's largest cross-vertical show, including leading vendors and distributors in grocery, food service, convenience and retail verticals.
