ECI Software Solutions Named 2026 Great Place To Work in Eight Countries for Employee-Driven Culture

ECI Software Solutions Inc. has announced it has been Certified as a 2026 Great Place to Work in eight countries. Eighty-two percent of employee feedback described ECI as a Great Place To Work, a 7% increase from the previous year and 25% higher than the average for United States-based companies.

This marks the eighth consecutive year of ECI's recognition in the U.S.; the fifth straight year in Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia; the fourth straight year in the Netherlands; the second straight year in Portugal; and a first-time certification in Norway and India.

Great Place To Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation. This award is based on independently administered anonymous employee survey responses, which showed ECI's leadership has consistently strengthened relationships with employees. The survey highlighted ECI leadership seeks out employee ideas and suggestions (+5%), maintains strong communication (+4%), and demonstrates a sincere interest in them as individuals. In every area of the survey ECI employees communicated year over year improvement in engagement.

"Employee responses to this survey give us clear direction on what is working within our culture and where we can redirect our efforts. This recognition affirms the sincere commitment to the programs and practices we have put in place to support our employees throughout their careers, creating meaningful opportunities for career growth and to build better lives for their families."

ECI follows its organizational core values — CODE (Crave greatness, Own the outcome, Deliver awesome, Embrace community) —  to develop and champion employees through several key programs, including:

  • Embrace Community Days which provide employees with eight hours of paid time off each year to make a meaningful impact in their local communities. ECI also partners with employees who are personally invested in charitable organizations, providing up to a $500 donation to support causes they are passionate about.
  • Global Well-Being Day, which is a day when ECI closes its office to give meaningful time for employees to focus on their mental and physical health without the distraction of emails or meetings.  ECI realizes that their employees are also care givers for their families and this day is a time for purposeful action to destress, recharge and do something that will bring a greater sense of peace and health to their lives.
  • The High5 Recognition Program, which strengthens a culture of appreciation through public, award-based recognition. There were more than 131,000 peer-to-peer recognitions exchanged between global team members last year, an increase of 13% year over year.
  • The ECI Connections program, which randomly matches employees across roles, departments and countries each month. Last year, more than 1,800 conversations were had, contributing to stronger relationships across the business.
  • ECI Cares is an independently administered fund that provides emergency financial relief to employees based on need.
  • The ECI Shares incentive plan provides eligible employees with the opportunity to benefit from an increase in company value over the long term.
