ECI Software Solutions has announced that it has appointed Shahin Hatamian as chief product officer. Hatamian will guide ECI's product vision and be responsible for translating that vision into a strategy road map, overseeing the creation and execution of all product-related activities.

As an enterprise software leader with more than 25 years of high-tech industry experience, Hatamian has proven his extensive knowledge of product development and business strategy. Before joining ECI, Hatamian served as senior vice president of product management and strategy for Mitchell International, a SaaS solution provider to the P&C insurance industry. For more than 12 years, he created value through product strategy formulation and execution, product management and marketing, M&A, sales support and the development and execution of short- and long-term division strategy. Prior to Mitchell, Hatamian served as vice president of product management and delivery for Toshiba America Information Systems, where he was responsible for product strategy and implementation of Toshiba's IP-based voice communication solutions, voice applications, call center solutions, mobility solutions and numerous partner products.

The expansion of ECI's leadership team to include Hatamian as chief product officer follows the recent addition of Chip Coyle, chief marketing officer, and comes on the heels of three notable acquisitions, including ES Tech Group, a United Kingdom-based B2B e-commerce software and services company serving manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers; Data Inventions, the maker of a machine intelligence platform called Alora; and Lojic, the maker of Lojic Dashboards, a customizable dashboard solution that helps manufacturers create and display real-time, insightful dashboards across operations.
