DocuWare Signs on 10,000th Cloud Customer
DocuWare has announced a significant milestone. This month, the company celebrated its 10,000th global cloud customer, which means it has doubled its cloud customers in less than three years.
A pioneer in the cloud ECM arena, this growth is a testament to DocuWare's dedication to delivering trustworthy, quality cloud-based enterprise content management (ECM) solutions to their customers.
With the cloud computing market projected to be valued at $2,292.59 billion by 2032, DocuWare is well positioned as a key player.
"It is important to us that we provide the best cloud services to our customers," said Dr. Michael Berger, president, DocuWare. "The fact that 10,000 customers have entrusted us with the digital transformation of their businesses proves that our product strategy is in line with the market. Ours is a product strategy founded on providing ease-of-use products and a commitment to great service and innovation."
Rising demand for efficient cloud-based ECM solutions reflects the vital role of document and information management in the success of a modern business. DocuWare has been offering its cloud-based ECM for 12 years. Its cloud revenue grew in fiscal year 2023 resulting in a 47% increase YOY, which aligns with the increasing global demand. Currently, almost 90% of new DocuWare customers opt for the cloud over an on-premise deployment. DocuWare Cloud systems are sold in more than 100 countries, supported by four global data centers and available in 24 languages.
Cloud-based solutions offer benefits to businesses of all sizes and across many industries: Scalability allows quick adaptation to the size and needs of a business; low-to-no IT infrastructure costs due to removing the need for physical servers; and compliance and security are adhered to through built-in backup and disaster recovery features.
The company is committed to developing its innovative technology solutions and last year announced it will invest an additional €15 million over the next two-and-a-half years to secure its position as a leading software company facilitating digital transformation for businesses worldwide. DocuWare will unveil its strategic product direction at its global DocuWorld Partner conferences in Berlin, Germany; Houston, Texas; and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this year.
