DocuWare has announced the opening of DocuWare AI Hub. This dedicated research and development hub will serve as a cornerstone for innovation. It will play a crucial role in the company's development of proprietary AI solutions for intelligent document processing and enterprise content management, based on ethical and data privacy standards supporting regulations such as the EU AI Act 2025.

- Advance DocuWare IDP, a key product that will significantly benefit from generative AI capabilities.
- Create a unified and coherent product experience across all offered AI solutions within DocuWare.
- Develop intelligent assistants and agentic automation solutions — delivering experience as a ChatGPT trained on their own corporate data.
The close collaboration of DocuWare AI Hub experts with leading universities and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) will foster academic partnerships that can quickly integrate the latest research, resulting in cutting-edge, real-world applications. Manuel Zapp, one of the founders of natif.ai will be promoted to the position of vice president of AI and executive advisor of AI strategy, and will manage the global AI Hub team out of DocuWare's office in Saarbrücken, Germany. While fellow natif.ai founder, Johannes Korves will take on the role of executive advisor on corporate strategy within DocuWare.
