Digitech Systems LLC has announced that it has completed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (AICPA) Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 audit for its cloud-based information management services Sys.tm, ImageSilo and PaperVision.com.

SOC 2 focuses on the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy of operations and compliance processes. The opinion issued was unqualified on the criteria described in Digitech Systems' assertion statement, demonstrating the company's commitment to and the establishment of well designed and executed control objectives and related processes and procedures for the world's only composable information management service, Sys.tm. The company's other cloud applications, ImageSilo and PaperVision.com have previously received SOC 2 Type II certifications.

SOC 2 is the authoritative guidance that allows service organizations, such as cloud computing providers, to disclose their control activities and processes related to operations and compliance to their customers and their customers' auditors in a uniform reporting format. The SOC 2 Type 1 Report for Sys.tm includes a description of the security and availability processes of Digitech Systems and offers comprehensive reviews and tests of the company's controls. Many federal regulations require corporations to audit the internal controls of their suppliers, including those that provide cloud services. By undergoing the SOC 2 audit, Digitech Systems can provide its customers with a comprehensive audit report that facilitates compliance with these and other regulations.
