Dec. 11 BTA Webinar to Focus on The Power of a Fractional CFO

Dec. 11 BTA Webinar to Focus on The Power of a Fractional CFO

The 219th webinar in BTA's Building My Business Webinar Series is scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Dec. 11. The webinar, "The Power of a Fractional CFO: Financial Clarity Without Full-Time Cost," will be presented by Jason Plott, e-automate accounting and business consultant at XYZ Consulting.

Plott returns to the Building My Business webinar series following his May 8, 2025, webinar, "e-automate Pitfalls & How to Avoid Them."

In this webinar, he will dive into how business owners can gain executive-level financial insight and strategy — without the overhead of a full-time CFO. Plott will explain what a fractional CFO does, how this model can strengthen cash flow, improve forecasting and uncover hidden profitability, and why it is becoming a game changer for small- to medium-sized companies running on e-automate and similar platforms.

Whether your business is growing quickly or simply needs better financial visibility, this webinar will show you how a fractional CFO can bring clarity, confidence and control to your financial operations.

Plott will also discuss other values he can bring to your business if you currently have a CFO.

Plott began his career during his senior year of college as an employee of e-automate (formerly Digital Gateway, prior to its acquisition by ECI). With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, he has served as an accounting manager and controller for Visual Edge, and CFO for Professional Document Solutions. Now offering consulting services, Plott specializes in virtual CFO support (ideal for smaller businesses that need expert financial guidance from someone with advanced e-automate skills without the cost of a full-time CFO), process analysis and improvement, advanced accounting support, and e-automate database cleanup. Based in Lubbock, Texas, he also provides on-site consulting for clients who prefer in-person assistance. Plott holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University.
