Dantex & Ricoh USA Create Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Digital Label Growth Across North America

Dantex Group has signed a strategic agreement with Ricoh USA Inc., under which Ricoh will offer the entire Dantex Pico lineup as part of its production print portfolio across the United States and Canada.

The move significantly expands Dantex's reach in this important label printing market while enabling Ricoh to broaden its offering with scalable label printing solutions that help customers differentiate and grow their business.

The portfolio includes the revived PicoColour 254, a modern evolution of Dantex's entry-level press, providing a scalable route into digital and hybrid production. Available with Dantex's compact integrated finishing system or the advanced GM DC350 finishing unit, it can be transformed from a roll-to-roll press into a complete roll-to-hybrid platform with integrated inline finishing. It sits alongside the flagship PicoJet 1200 DRS, whose Dynamic Resolution System uses patented technology to extend tonal range, reproduce fine detail and deliver smooth gradients without sacrificing production speed.

Ricoh will work consultatively with customers to assess application demand, outsourced work, workflow, finishing, automation, capacity and return on investment. This will help businesses to understand where a Dantex label printing solution fits within their existing production environment, as well as identify suitable work to bring in-house and develop new applications and revenue streams.

"This partnership represents a significant milestone in Dantex's growth strategy and a major endorsement of the Pico platform," said Ben Danon, CEO, Dantex. "Ricoh's scale, market presence and infrastructure will bring our technology to a much wider audience across North America.

"The label industry continues to evolve rapidly, with increasing demand for shorter runs, faster turnaround and greater production flexibility," Danon continued. "Together, we are exceptionally well positioned to help customers capitalise on these opportunities and accelerate the adoption of digital label printing throughout the region."

The agreement builds on a longstanding technical relationship, with Dantex having incorporated Ricoh inkjet technology into its purpose-built digital label platforms for many years.

"At Ricoh, we focus on helping customers identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities while building a path to long-term operational success," said Andrew Vecci, director of product & portfolio management, Ricoh North America. "Combining Dantex's specialist label expertise with Ricoh's consultative approach characterized by our technology and solutions portfolio, integration capabilities, workflow experience and support resources, together we can help customers determine how digital label production fits within their overall operation and provide a scalable, productive and commercially focused solution that enables them to expand applications, enhance output and drive profitable and sustainable growth."

In other news, Ricoh Co. Ltd. has announced it has been named to the World's Best Companies 2026 list, compiled by TIME and Statista. The annual ranking recognizes 1,000 organizations worldwide based on a holistic approach that evaluates both short-term revenue growth and mid- to long-term corporate sustainability, including employee satisfaction and sustainability transparency. Ricoh's inclusion reflects its sustainable business growth, supported by revenue expansion, further reductions in carbon intensity, and improved employee satisfaction.

"At Ricoh, we envision a future where individuals are empowered to find fulfillment through work by transforming workplaces into inspiring and creative environments," said Akira Oyama, president and CEO, Ricoh Co. Ltd. "Realizing this vision starts with our own people — by creating a workplace where every employee can grow, contribute and thrive. Our recognition in the TIME World's Best Companies 2026 ranking reflects our commitment to nurturing people and advancing sustainability as foundations for long-term value creation. Guided by our corporate philosophy, Ricoh will continue to support our customers' transformation while contributing to a more sustainable society."

The World's Best Companies ranking evaluates organizations across three equally weighted dimensions:

  • Employee Satisfaction: Evaluated through an independent survey of roughly 200,000 employees in more than 50 countries, based on direct recommendations of their own employers and evaluations of peer organizations that stood out positively or negatively within their industry.
  • Revenue Growth: Measured relative and absolute revenue growth from 2023 to 2025 (or 2022 to 2024) for companies generating over $100 million in their last fiscal year.
  • Sustainability Transparency: Assessed using standardized key performance indicators (KPIs) across environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria, including carbon intensity, board gender diversity and compliance with GRI reporting guidelines.

This recognition marks Ricoh's third inclusion on the TIME World's Best Companies list, following selections in 2023 and 2025. It builds on another honor from TIME in 2026: inclusion in the World's Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list, focused on ESG performance and transparency.
