Clover Imaging Group Expands Its Reach With IPW Acquisition
Clover Imaging Group has acquired IPW, a U.S.-based manufacturer of aftermarket imaging supplies with deep OEM roots.
IPW, founded in 1996, built its reputation manufacturing high-quality, economical alternatives to OEM supplies — earning some of the largest printer OEMs as customers along the way. That OEM intimacy gave IPW a unique edge: intimate knowledge of laser printing technology that translates directly into product reliability. The company is also U.S.-based, operating in a federally designated Hub Zone, and has maintained a community-first mission since its founding.
For Clover, the acquisition is a natural fit. The company has long positioned itself at the intersection of cost savings and environmental responsibility, offering dealers and resellers remanufactured cartridges alongside managed print and technology services. Adding IPW's manufacturing capabilities and OEM-grade engineering know-how only deepens that value proposition for the channel.
The deal strengthens Clover's position in the aftermarket imaging supplies market while giving dealers more options when it comes to cost-effective, reliable alternatives to OEM product.
