Canon U.S.A.'s Kazuto Ogawa Named to Long Island Business News' 60 Most Influential Long Islanders List
To recognize his contribution to the community, Long Island Business News (LIBN) named Kazuto "Kevin" Ogawa, president and CEO of Canon U.S.A. Inc., to its 60 Most Influential Long Islanders of 2023 list.
The list encompasses honorees from a variety of industries who each were deemed to have impacted the Long Island community in a profound way. Drawing from the sectors including business, education, medicine, transportation, media, real estate and government, Ogawa was among a select group cited by LIBN for their ability to lead during challenging circumstances while demonstrating character, creativity and compassion to inspire others.

Ogawa has been a mainstay at Canon for more than 40 years, first starting his career with parent company Canon Inc. in 1981. He has held various positions with Canon Hong Kong and Canon China, and served as president and CEO at one time of both Canon Singapore and Canon Canada. Additionally, he was elected a managing executive officer of Canon Inc. in 2016.
He became president and COO of Canon U.S.A. in 2018 and assumed his current position at Canon U.S.A. in April 2020. He was promoted to senior managing executive officer of Canon Inc. in April 2021.
