BTA's e-automate Elevate & Spring Break to Be Held March 6-8 in Orlando, Florida

The Business Technology Association (BTA) will hold its first event of 2025, Spring Break, March 6-8 at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida. Open to office technology dealers from across the country, the event will feature: a special pre-event best practices day for e-automate users; a motivational keynote address by leadership expert, polar explorer and mountaineer Alison Levine; two main-stage sessions presented by industry leaders; a dealer panel on selling workflow solutions; three breakout sessions focused on sales performance solutions, critical factors for service success and laying the groundwork for the successful operation of a business; and time to network with your fellow dealers and exhibitors, including during a cocktail reception on the evening of March 7.

On March 6, BTA will host e-automate Elevate: A BTA Dealers Helping Dealers Best Practices Event, which includes a free one-person registration to Spring Break. Sponsored by Xerox, e-automate Elevate will allow for a conversation among a broad range of e-automate users (from lower frequency to Super Users), touching on a variety of topics such as product functionality, common concerns and troubleshooting best practices. Attendees can choose between breakout sessions in multiple tracks: Accounting, CEO Juice, Contracts, Inventory, Order Processing, Service and System Admin. The event will wrap up with an Ask the Experts session where attendees can have their questions answered. Registration is $299 per person, which includes the educational sessions, lunch and refreshment breaks, as well as a one-person registration to Spring Break. If you register by Feb. 10, you can get the early-bird price of $249 — a $50 discount. Click here to learn more and register.

Spring Break will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 7, with opening comments and the first main stage session, "Lessons From the Ledge," presented by keynoter Alison Levine. After the keynote, lunch will be held. Following lunch, the second main stage educational session, "Sales Team Improvement," presented by Kate Kingston of Kingston Training Group, will be held. A break that will give attendees the opportunity to network with their peers and exhibiting sponsors will follow.

After the break, attendees can choose take part in one of three breakout sessions, or visit with the exhibitors. The breakouts will include:

  • "Sales Performance Solutions," presented by Nate Berkhoudt of PathShare HR Services

  • "Review, Realign & Recap," presented by John Eckstrom, former president of Carolina Business Equipment Inc., now a Novatech company

After the breakouts, another break will be held, followed by the third main stage session, a dealer panel on workflow solutions titled, "Cracking the Code: Successfully Selling Workflow Solutions." The panelists will include: Zak Danison of Modern Office Methods, Cincinnati, Ohio; Alan Peters of DOCUmation, San Antonio, Texas; and Brent Wesler of PiF Technologies, Hookset, New Hampshire.
