April 13 BTA Webinar to Focus on Remanufactured Supplies

The 200th webinar in BTA's Building My Business Webinar Series is scheduled for 4 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, April 13. The webinar, "Reman Rising: Remanufactured Supplies in High Demand," will be led by Tricia Judge, executive director of the International Imaging Technology Council. The webinar will be sponsored by Sharp.

Chinese clone cartridges are all over Amazon and causing competitive and environmental problems. The world's largest consumer, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), is considering banning such single-use plastics. Simultaneously, more institutions and companies are demanding supplies with low or zero environmental impact. Some are even demanding their suppliers take them back. Remanufactured cartridges are now in vogue, but why should you incorporate them into your product mix and how can you make sure you are buying true, high-quality remanufactured cartridges? This webinar will give you the answers.

Judge has served as the executive director of the International Imaging Technology Council, a not-for-profit trade association serving imaging supplies remanufacturers and dealers, for 25 years. She is an industry expert in the antitrust and intellectual property litigation that is prevalent in the printing industry. As the first executive director of the International Imaging Technology Council, Judge has promoted the association and is a regular speaker at industry meetings around the world. She was the executive editor of Recharger Magazine for five years. A lawyer for 35 years, Judge also has litigation experience. Her work has been published in Recharger, Imaging Spectrum, Office Technology, Recycling Times, Recycler Magazine, ENX Magazine, Nevada Lawyer Magazine, ASTM Standardization News, and has won critical acclaim for her writing and industry advocacy. Judge has assisted in the preparation of five friend-of-the-court briefs presented to the U.S. Supreme Court and federal circuit courts and has presented the position of the industry to the International Trade Commission and the Federal Trade Commission.
